Wow it seems like a long time since I’ve written anything. A lot has happened since the last blog I posted. The kitchen remodel has stopped while we wait on doors, but we started to closet remodel. I spent two whole days demolishing and rebuilding the closet. Currently the sheet rock is up and the first coat of mud is applied. I am currently trying to stay ahead of all the little projects that keep popping up. I have started telling everyone that it will be the middle of July before I get to their project. What I have coming up is I have to finish the closet remodel and concurrently I am working on a laundry room remodel following that I have a portico to build and to start a large bathroom remodel.
In other news my computer started glitching the other day so I called Ellis at Mighty G computer solutions, http://mightyg.com/ . He came out the other day and found that I had no antivirus. He also said I needed to install Carbonite, http://www.carbonite.com/en/4 so this morning I purchased this product and him currently backing up my hard drive.
I have also come up with the idea that I need to purchase a rent house. This is so I have some dependable income when I retire. So I am currently in the process of buying one, and that is quite the experience trying to get the loans.
It is really surprised me the number of phone calls I have received lately. On Sunday alone I received five phone calls, which I thought was kind of odd being that it was Mother’s Day and a Sunday. But then again it has been like that for quite a while. I have been receiving 6 to 8 phone calls every day for the last two weeks. I have started to have to turn down work, because I just cannot get to it, and that is not how I like to run my business. So if I forget to return your call or if I don’t get to you soon enough, please call me back, as I am only one man.
